And no it does not matter, well the only time i matters is when it is illegal! when you turn 18 and he is only 16 it will be litterally illegal for you guys to do stuff together. But for now it is totally fine. I had a boyfriend once that was 17 and i was only 14. the only time it matters is when one person is over 18 and the other is not.
