hi i am going to italy this summer with my family in july and im italian. my mom and dads side speak italian so i can pratice with my mom and nonna when i get better. i need a website or any books that can help me learn italian by july. now i mean a good amount of course i cant learnt he language but to get by if u know what i mean. i do not know any.

You're cutting it a bit short and left it a bit late I think... 2 months is very little time to learn such a complex language, even if it's just the few basics needed to get you around!!!
For the short time you have available, firstly, I suggest you get hold of a simple conversational dictionary (the type many turists use for basic easy sentence translations). Then, watch some favoured films, already well known to you, on DVD and use the language and subtitle options in Italian. If your mum and dad know Italian, pester them into teaching you essential words and pronounciations for you to practice. Get hold of some Italian songs and listen to those over and over....also, you could join up and take a short language course if possible....
To be quite honest, in the short time you have at your disposal, I don't think web sites in general will be much use to you since they all require the ability to write in Italian to understand it, let alone speak it, but if that's the way you want to go, then you could also search for help in the Italian section of Yahoo Answers!
